Welcome! I am a political scientist who is interested in elections and statistics.
I am Associate Professor (Reader) at the University of Warwick and Profesor Investigador Titular at CIDE. Before that I was Departmental Lecturer at the University of Oxford.
I earned my PhD in Government and MA in Public Opinion and Polling from the University Essex, and my Vordiplom in Political Science, Statistics, and Macroeconomics from the University of Bamberg.
My academic work has been published in the British Journal of Political Science, Political Analysis, Political Science Research and Methods, and Public Opinion Quarterly, among other outlets.
My Erdös number is 4 (Andreas Murr → Jeff Gill → Malay Ghosh → Gutti Jogesh Babu → Paul Erdös).
I regularly write blog posts about my research and have written software in the R language.
I have taught comparative politics, political sociology, public opinion, causal inference, hierarchical models, and machine learning, among other topics.
